I have been wanting to play Armored core a bit as of late. So this is a welcome announcement.

Of course, it's a long way away isn't it?

"Armored Core V by myself, it was rather abysmal, so hopefully the new features improve that experience."

*shrug* Thought the game was pretty good offline and online. Liked the Demon's Souls style multiplayer a lot. Was either merc'ing or playing co-op after I beat the campaign

Honestly laughed a bit at the beginning, about how ridiculously simplistic and bad looking Hawken and the new Mechwarrior game was compared to this.. Fast action, but not without strategy, and not reliant on twitch, etc. It wasn't very balanced on the versus modes, in the sense that you couldn't get access to the weapons the chiefs had... that wasn't a good idea. But outside of that, great game. Overview planning modes, and so on are much deeper than what you saw even in MechWarrior 2: Mercenaries.

Its been what, about a year since the ACV came out? I guess it hasn't been that long for the next installment, but it sure feels like its about time. I didn't play the online part that much, even after all that talk about the Merc ranks. I just found that the parts were very limited in this version, compared to others, and Verdict Day better have some good light and mid parts, and some damn grenade launchers:)
