Watch Dogs will be on PlayStation 4, demo shows open world manhunt and a bit reminiscent of Hitman
Open world with a touch of science fiction
Ubisoft was present at Sony's PlayStation 4 event today to re-announce Watch Dogs (or Watch_Dogs) as another addition to the PlayStation 4 library. When the game debuted at E3 last year, it was announced as a current-gen title, but today, we learn Ubisoft is releasing it to PS4 as well.
In addition to that news, we've also got a new video: Watch Dog's gameplay premiere. At just under five minutes in length, it's not the longest stretch of gameplay, but the footage does show us how the game works in motion. More importantly, it offers us a look at the open world and what you can do within it.
The sequence we see is vaguely reminiscent of a Hitman title, where our fellow tracks a guy down, chases him, then ends up being chased himself. To help in his tracking and escaping, he does a ton of hacking through the city's various networks.
