excited about this, the game that really caught my eye from that list was Infamous: Second Son though.

I only got my PS3 in 2010 so i'm not entirely sure i'll get the PS4 on release but i will be keeping an eye on the updates.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, but will I be able to play Final Fantasy XI and the 10 years plus worth of expansions I own and play daily?

For me the games I play are very important and the Sony Game Cloud sounds like a danger to me when it comes to game protection. Yeah, I know it means I can't lose or damage my game media. Yes, more than once I've had to buy a game over again because the media went bad, BUT ....

How do we know that the Sony Game Cloud will be accessible tomorrow or even in business in several years. Remember when the Sony Network was down for weeks because of a hacker and what about when Japan got hit with Earth quakes and waves? Unfortunately, stuff happens and I'm sure Sony lawyers will protect Sony but will they protect the user? Nah, as they work for Sony not us. When the media is / was in our hands our fate is also in our hands! If Sony gave us a guarantee with serious penalties, well, it would be different, but it won't happen, as Sony can't run the risk for its share holders.

In the end, the real cost of a game console is NOT the hardware but the software. When I compare my PS2 or PS3 costs, the software is many times more than the hardware -- I'd say around 15X. To paraphrase The Bible: Before you make a decision you need to count the cost. In this case, the main cost is the games . . .

Yeah its good that theyre using a easier to use CPU, but that comes at the cost of bakward compatability
The 360 already has x86 i belive so i hope thier new console will be backwards compatible

Oh i fear how the new xbox will turn out
I dont like the rumors one bit, and i fear theyll continue to focus on casual gamers
They also made it sound like the PS4 is for casual gamers, and we dont want that

Nothing wrong with the RAM,but CPU is less powerfull than the one of the PS3
Still 40 precent better than 360 if rumors are true, but they did confirm its less powerfull than the PS3

I think about 1.8 ghz perhaps?

The CPU isn't cell which means you can do much more with far less since it isn't a piece of alien technology that even Naughty Dog had trouble dealing with, especially since the GPU will be taking some of the load off as well. The cell was only realized by less than a handful of games (Uncharted 2, 3, MGS4, Killzone, maybe one other I'm forgetting). 5 games isn't worth cell, especially when it was bogged down by everything else the PS3 had to offer. The PS4 with it's current hardware will run loops around a PS3.

THM thats the whole point of consoles, they are not future proof and they never will be future proof, if they where then they wouldn't be consoles, they would be modular (like what the Steambox promises).

Yah, the ps4 being weaker than the ps3 sounds very unlikely. .Can the ps3 handle unreal engine 4m??

The so-called Sony Cloud is the news of news for me, especially if it means that in fifty years when I decide that a PS4 is worth it, I can play downloaded PS2 games on my PS4 on my Vita.

Significantly stronger hardware is always nice, but it's the library that makes a console and I would be very worried if there was a truly knock-out lineup announced alongside the console itself. The new engines are gonna be sweet, though.

8GB RAM is cool for now! It is just enough for the next six years or so, I prefer 16GB unified RAM!!

CPU is cool for now, but not sure it will be good enough for the next six years or so!!! Some say, PS3 Cell Broadband CPU is more powerful than PS4??? But no one knows how to use it; Needs some gurus' advice!!!

No backward compatibility means more good games are needed if PS4 wants to survive in its first few years!

HDD?? We (gamers) do not want 12GB model PS4!!! I'm expecting the minimum 500GB to maximum 1-2 TB depends on the model or SKU!!

Crucially, how many USBs are to be incorporated in the final products?? I'm pretty sure 2 USB 3.0 ports won't be enough for gadget fans...

Controller is cool...Just like 'Bluxey' posted before, I hope, it won't display 'RED LED: USED Games'.

Above all, I cautiously welcome it, the overall info is still clouded, December launch for Japan is sure; but it can be delayed up to 2014 March for other regions, because I think that the SCEI is just teasing Microsoft with as little info as possible; just to see what they can come up with Xbox 720!!
