Definitely the key to my interest in the PS4. We'll see how things go with this and I may end up actually caring about the next Gen of gaming.

I know it is because Destiny is developed by Bungie, but I still think there are bits of Halo in Destiny. Nonetheless, can't wait!

If PSN is still sticking to the free to play model, Destiny is going to be a big hit on the PS4.

I want to say I think so, but from what I could tell from the stream, it sounds like they aren't. I saw something about dedicating network for gaming so that means paying for the other network for services like Netflix?

I'm not too sure tbh, still pretty excited about it all.

The one thing I think Sony did right is to have their online services for free, and I think how they utilized PlayStation Plus was definitely the way to go. I can't stand the XBL model

Yeah I picked the PS3 over the 360 because of the online service being free. I just hope they don't change it any time soon.

I really don't know why Microsoft think it is necessary to have their players pay to play online.

The lack of gameplay is disheartening, but I hope Destiny is good. Bungie seems to really be putting their all into the project.

Whether or not Microsoft thinks it's necessary, people gladly pay for Xbox Live. Pretty sure Sony sees this and will jump on the opportunity in one way or the other. I'll gladly pay for a PSN subscription if it means a more secure and centralized service.
