If you've been waiting for more Vergil goodness in DmC: Devil May Cry, rest assured that wait is coming to an end. Come March 5, Capcom will release Vergil's Downfall to Xbox LIVE, PSN, and PC. What the DLC does is add a bit more gameplay, four difficulty levels, and a new story.
Of course, just like in Devil May Cry 3, Vergil has his own attacks, combos, weapons, and all that goodness. Not that any of this is going to be free. Anyone looking to play DmC's first major DLC is going to have to fork over 720 Microsoft Points or $8.99 USD. A few of you may already be guaranteed free access, depending on where you got the game and what pre-order perks were offered; for anyone who got a pre-order code for the add-on, it can be redeemed today.
As for today, DmC finally gets its Bloody Palace mode, adding over 100 painful bonus levels for masochistic gamers out there. Unlike Vergil's Downfall, Bloody Palace mode is free. Small blessings.
