From now on, everytime I hear the word 'delay', reminds me of 'Aliens: Colonial Marines'....I hope Naughty Dog won't be like that...

I honestly don't mind. 7th May was an iffy time for me, i might have exams around then, and that would be just terrible. In June i'll be on my holiday, so i'll have all the time in the world to spend on The Last Of Us

Doesn't really bother me the least, as long as they ARE making the game better. Furthermore, it'll give me some time to play through Tomb Raider and Beyond: Two Souls.

Yeah, plus Bioshock: Infinite, Crysis 3 (maybe..?), Metal Gear Rising: Rev., and hell, even the South Park game. That leaves me with plenty to play up until June.

I don't see what that has to do with anything since it is a completely unrelated even that happened for completely different reasons but ok.

I'm more shocked that it hasn't been delayed to the fall like near other every game is doing.

BTW is somebody gonna write an article on the Aliens controversy?

Because delays always related with the internal or external issues of developers/publishers...Aliens controversy is full of dilemmas...Even Gearbox admitted that they outsourced the game and involved in it just a little but it deserves to be blamed!!...The name of Gearbox is in a Hall of Shame right of this moment!!!!!

Delays happen for a multitude of reasons. Gearbox AND Sega didn't really care for Aliens and Sega knew full well what Gearbox was doing, using funds and time to work on their own games rather than Aliens.

The delay for rayman for example was simply because Ubisoft doesn't want to make money and are stupid and don't want to do two marketing campaigns for the same game.

The delay for GTAV was most likely to strike a deal with next gen and become a cross gen title or to generate more sales in the holiday season.

The reason for Bioshock was, just like this game, for more polish.

To group all delays as a problem is very silly, when it couldn't be farther from the truth.

I don't understand the mistrust here.

This is Naughty Dog. They've not made a bad game yet so why would you think they would phone it in with a brand new IP?

In Naughty Dog I trust, they've done me no wrong and I've loved every game they've released. How about a bit of faith, guys.

Yes, they do. In this case it is polishing the game since bugtesting is almost always neglected in most games these days.

Good for you!

Now all I can do is just to trade-in my 'Aliens' game with the upcoming 'Metal Gear Solid: Rising' which is also rumored to be extremely quick to finish (under 5 hours)!!!
