Technically pokemon can have two different attacks in the Rumble series.

I for one have enjoyed both Rumble games, and look forward to this one. Hopefully I can get my backlog manageable by then so I don't feel bad getting it.

I hope this game actually has a story to it like Rumble Blast did. That game was awesome.

The Rumble models are like the Miis of the Pokemon universe. Granted they SHOULD create models for all the Pokemon, these models are much simpler to make and are a lot easier on the system. Besides, they've got a certain style to them that kinda makes them appealing.

Seeing fully 3D actual models battling it out would be frigg'n awesome though. It's a shame we have to wait for 6th gen for that (and that's on a handheld, not a console like this new Rumble game is...).

Pokemon Rumble was disgusting on the Wii, probably entertained me for all of 5 minutes. Thank God I didn't buy it.

Pokemon Rumble blast for the DS ..... was....just....repulsive. I actually felt sick that it was more of the same shit with almost no improvements for almost 4 times the cost (I suck at math shut up).

So this is a pass obviously.

I actually like the designs of the models for this series, and I normally don't really care for chibi designs. Besides, they're supposed to be toys and thats what they look like.

I really enjoyed the first Rumble, but to me its not something I'd pay full retail price for and you pretty much summed up why. Rumble was really fun on multiplayer so hopefully this will have online play, that would make things a lot better.

That's too many Pokemon to play at once. If this is not for the Wii U or Nintendo 3DS, it will likely freeze.

I would just like to point out that on my Wii I have a 100% completed save file for this game. How was this achieved? My younger sister and her friend played it (ages 8 and 9 respectively). I'm fairly certain that they're gearing these games towards younger audiences, which may likely be a large factor of why they're keeping the Pokemon Ranch models.

I hope that this somewhat affects your views on it being repulsive or disgusting, although I will instantly admit the gameplay is incredibly repetitive. Look at it in the eyes of a young child mashing the B button as their favorite Pokemon just mowing down an army of 100 other Pokemon.

That's gotta have some appeal (to their supposed target audience).

Jesus. Imagine battling in the mainline games with 100 Pokémon at the time. Would it be a free for all or 50 vs 50? Would it mean trainers will carry around a party of even more Pokémon? How would you even begin to develop a strategy for something like that? So many unanswered questions for this misreading.

I met the price point man. It's almost as bad as the Imagine series being sold full price for what looked like was made by a pokemon fan in a back alley with the help of a hobo computer for $5 being charged almost full price.

Its a simple beatumup, just on a massive and adorable scale. You are constantly collecting new and more powerful pokemon with different attacks to use with varying effects. I honestly don't see what's not to like, unless you just don't like the genre.

Honestly, you are pretty much dead on about that point. The first game should have been 10$ MAX, and the DS port in the 15-20 range.

But hey, what non-Steam games AREN'T overpriced these days? It felt sad to pick up the 3rd port of Ocarina of Time for 40$, but I guess we can't really influence their pricing...
