Cat's out of the bag, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt concludes a glorious franchise some time next year. We're very sad about that, but if you haven't yet played a Witcher game, now's a pretty good time to get caught up, along with the rest of the five-some million of us. To date, The Witcher series has sold over five million copies worldwide, so colored us impressed.
To celebrate this milestone and the impending end of The Witcher, developer CD Projekt RED is doing something nice for gamers; they're marking down the price of both The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
So until February 8, both The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut and The Witcher 2: Assassin's of Kings Enhanced Edition has been marked down by 50% via Steam and GOG (that site with all the crazy-old/DRM-free games). As for console gamers, Assassin's of Kings Enhanced Edition for Xbox 360 is now $30 USD, or €30/£20 in Europe. We recommend taking advantage, unless you already own the games or something.
