It means more 'portable-transferable-transparent games' for both home consoles and 3DS????...Hope it's applicable to the upcoming highly anticipated 'Castlevania: Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate'...and Lords of Shadow II???

This is their hardware division, so it won't have any impact on the Wii U, 3DS, or any games, especially third party games like Castlevania.

In a generation when it seems odd to have separate accounts for the Wii, WiiU and 3DS, and the WiiU charger and 3DS charger are not the same thing this seems like a decent step in the right direction.

I think in the long run, it has the possibility of speeding up game production. Nintendo is notorious for having their home console games connect to their gameboy systems and vice versa. Putting these developers under one roof means that instead of developing two sets of code to connect each pair of systems, the systems will only use components of one set of code. In the long run, it should speed up game production for those games which opt to have Wii U and 3DS connectivity.
