The fifth and final DLC expansion for Battlefield 3, that we known of, is only a bit more than a month away. End Game is packed full of content, including four maps, three sweet rides (like a... dirt bike), a drop ship and the return of the Capture the Flag mode. EA revealed today the gameplay premiere for said Capture the Flag mode, and to be completely honest is looks totally bad-ass.
Seriously, the sequence they show off in the trailer could be taken straight from one of Michael Bay's terrible movies. A pack of dirt-bike road warriors chasing down a convoy armed to the teeth, helicopters in the background, it's all amazingly intense. Of course, at least in my experience, scenes like this never play out the same way in actual gameplay. Still, it's the thought that counts, right?
Battlefield 3's End Game expansion is scheduled for release in March and is the final announced DLC pack for the game. What comes next? I'd float a guess that a Battlefield 4 announcement can't be too far off, but you never know. After EA said they had new plans for year-over-year FPS releases, it's hard to tell what's next for one of the last remaining bastions of military PC FPS glory.
PS: Whatever comes next, it won't be the same without David Goldfarb.
