It looks like that cool rumor about Luigi's Mansion is true. No, not that rumor about Luigi, come on. Uncalled for. The other one about Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon having a fancy multiplayer mode. Nintendo confirmed today that the 3DS title would include Hunters Mode, which challenges teams of four to cooperatively climb the ScareScraper. Each floor is a new challenge and a boss awaits at the top of each tower.
Let's just say that again: cooperative multiplay Luigi's Mansion. Hell. Yes. Basically, the Hunters Mode for Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is the Ghostbusters game I've always wanted. Only, instead of each of the Ghostbusters, you get four Luigi's instead. Just think about that. Think about how unbelievably awesome that could be. Ah, this is exactly what I'd want from Luigi's Mansion multiplayer.
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon will be coming to the 3DS on March 24 in North America. The title will feature both local and online multiplayer modes and Download Play capabilities. Of course, it will also be available via the 3DS' eShop as well as in retail. Welcome to the future!
