Sony slips some Naughty Dog into God of War, packing The Last of Us demo with Ascension

It's especially nice when you find extra bonuses in something you already purchased without knowing about said bonuses. Like when you're already set on picking up Sony's God of War: Ascension and then they announce they'll be including a single-player demo for the The Last of Us on the disc. Well now, don't mind if I do! Thank you very, much, friends at Sony.

Negative side-effects of including such a demo in God of War: Ascension may include finishing said demo and erupting into an uncontrollable rage. Followed quickly by making a vow of revenge upon the gods that betrayed you. Why, Sony? Why did you betray me? Resulting in climbing atop the god's gigantic base of power, the PlayStation 3, and sobbing quietly to oneself. 

After all, God of War: Ascension will release on March 12, but it will be a long two months afterwards before The Last of Us launches on May 7. Leave it to Sony's Santa Monica Studio to so wonderfully realize the anger and frustration of Kratos in a myriad of way. Truly changing the ways we think about video games, they are. And of course, an experience exclusive to the PlayStation 3.
