Candy for .30$? PHHHHH
Awesome that they're .30 though, I always have a spare 1.00$ or 1.50$ on my account that just sits there.

How typical...they forget about bringing Earthbound back to the States on Virtual Console. There is a market for this series in North America, which Nintendo would see if their heads were out of their asses!

Earthbound would need a lot of work to remove all of the potential copyright lawsuits, more work than the small fan base would support at VC pricing. Sucks too, I'd love to play the game.

bbb7002004 Earthbound wouldn't be as tough as Mother 1 or 3, but yeah... a lot of work. I think Nintendo is really underestimating the fan-base stateside though. Like, they could seriously start a mainstream franchise to rival the big RPGs out there right now if they'd just release those old games and let us prove we want them.

Oh yeah, I totally agree. I'd love to see a combination of all three get a retail release on 3DS retail, running on the Mother 3 engine, and I think with the right advertising they could really have a hit.

Nintendo has confirmed there's literally only two issues, both stopped a JP VC release as well.

This only means those problems no longer exist.

I think it's more an issue of them wanting to make more than 30 cents from each person who buys it. It's obvious through countless Nintendo Power polls that it's the most wanted Virtual Console game in the States. In Japan it’s not really the same case as copies of Mother 2 are super cheap, whereas the US version now goes for $150+.
