Fifteen sets of skins were released today for Borderlands 2, which is surprising mainly in that Gearbox Software hasn't done this more often. That makes three sets of head and body skins for each character now available, each costing $.99 apiece. At least on Steam, it doesn't seem like there are larger bundles of multiple skins -- just each skin alone.
There are three themes for the new skins, each with a skin apiece for each character. Three themes with five characters each equals fifteen skins, if you're mathematically incompetent. The Madness pack is a mix of creepy skins that range from zombie Axton to scarecrow Zero, Supremacy is a high-tech future style of skins with my personal favorite cyborg Salvador, and the Domination pack is an odd assortment of anime, superhero, action star themes.
As per usual, the skins can be pretty hit or miss. The heads are each rather well-done, but almost across the board the body skins are just basic recolors. Nevertheless, in Borderlands 2 every player can look like an idiot if they so choose. We only got the one image above with all of the skins viewable in it, so head on down to Steam, XBLA or PSN and check them out for yourself.
