Here I am writing a review at midnight and what do you know, Blizzard decides to release the StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm opening cinematic. Not exactly what I'd call perfect timing, considering I'm about 15 minutes from burning off the last caffeine of the night and passing out on my keyboard, but is there really a bad time for a Blizzard cinematic cutscene? No. The answer is: thank you Blizzard, may we please have some more?
Sarah Kerrigan is waking up and having a bit of an identity crisis, it appears. After the end of Wings of Liberty I can't really blame her. I also could not figure out what the hell was going on and was unsure if I should be happy or angry. At least I wasn't on an operating table, but I did have alien dreadlocks. It was a weird weekend before StarCraft II was released, what can I say.
Anyways, StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm is scheduled for release March 12 exclusively on PC. It's bound to make some waves in eSports around the world, on top of reigniting that Blizaard controvery everyone seems to love these days. I'm psyched. And also tired. Good night!
