I think, and I could be wrong here, but I think Dead or Alive 5 is a fighting game and Dead or Alive 5+ is the PlayStation Vita version of the game. The reason I'm confused is because the latest trailer is just the Dead or Alive girls wearing bikinis and overalls (overalls?) rolling around on the beach. I suppose with all the bloody torsos going around, Team Ninja's latest trailer is pretty tame.
The funny thing is Dead or Alive 5+ actually has some pretty cool Vita features. There's cross-play, so gamers can play against friends on the PlayStation 3, there's more than 100 costumes to be available by the end of January, and if you tilt the Vita vertically to get a first person perspective. This way you can get a close up, zoomed in look at your character... like... panty shots. Damn it, Team Ninja. Just... damn. *sigh*
Pick up Dead or Alive 5+ on the PlayStation Vita on March 22. Let us never talk about this ever again.
