Pokemon Winter Regional Championship to decide the true Pokemon Black & White 2 Pokemasters

There can be only one... err, well, I suppose there can be five, because there are five regional tournaments. Anyways, I'm talking about Pokemasters, of course. The Pokemon Video Game Winter Regional Championships are here and will begin on Sunday, January 20. Winners from three age divisions for each territory will receive travel awards Travel Awards to the 2013 Pokemon U.S. National Championships in June. The tournaments will be played on Pokemon Black & White Version 2. Are you prepared?

Of course, the event isn't just for the Pokemasters among us, there's also a special reward for everyone that just wants to hang out and take in the competitive Pokemon scene. All attendees to the five events will be able to pick up a special Cloyster designed after a Pokemon Champion's team member. All you need is a DS or 3DS along with either Pokemon Black & White or Pokemon Black & White Version 2.

Here's a brief summary of just what sort of Cloyster will be available at the Winter Regional Championships:

"get a special Cloyster based off of the one Abram Burrows used in his 2012 Junior Division World Championship team! The Cloyster will be holding a Choice Scarf and comes ready with Icicle Spear, Rock Blast, Hidden Power, and Razor Shell, a rare and difficult-to-obtain combination of moves."

If you live close to Long Beach, Calif., Lake Buena Vista, Fla., St. Charles, Mo., Salem, Ore., and Sandston, Va. make sure to check the event out (more details, addresses here). After all, with Pokemon X & Y on the way everyone will need as much experience (and as many Pokemon) as they can get.
