the battle system is like the battle systems of final fantasy 10 and final fantasy 10-2 put together.

The battle system looks like fun, somewhat reminiscent of Makai Kingdom, how do the previous entries in the series stack up in that regard? Are they similar?
#1 tries to be a turnbased game like a Final Fantasy game, but with customizable combos that you string together by pressing different buttons(DO NOT PLAY IT).

#2 is more Makai Kingdom, and superior to #1, you don't need to have played the first one to play this one.

Whoop whoop.

Played both previous games, never beat them, though, as they pretty much lose their appeal by the midpoint. The first game's combat was tedious and boring, and the 2nd game had too much running around.

The demo for this one was pretty good, and seems to fix many issues I have had with the previous games, so I'm hoping this does well.
