EA released a new trailer today for Visceral Games' upcoming Army of TWO: The Devil's Cartel, and it's about as intense as a Michael Bay flick, only with fewer sunsets. Explosions, gunfights, and more explosions.
Truth be told, that's the only real selling point in this particular trailer, aptly named "Overkill." We mostly see Alpha and Bravo shooting things, after a woman rescues them from a hairy situation at a villa. At least she's wearing a proper t-shirt and not, say, some Lara Croft-esque attire. Thank goodness for small blessings.
Regarding the actual action? Well, I can't claim the action looks bad, but I do miss some of that Army of TWO humor. And Visceral needs to amp up the bromance, or these two will always be second fiddle to Salem and Rios.

The new Army of TWO is intended to be a sort of reset for the series, though both of our previous mercs do show up, as the debut trailer confirmed. Guess all this seriousness is right in line with the more mature and gritty tone Visceral and EA want.
