Splinter Cell: Blacklist won't be making its spring time release, and is now dated several months down the road for August 20. That's all right, we can wait if Ubisoft needs more time to make Sam Fisher into a bigger badass.
The news didn't exactly get much attention today, being made an exclusive to a single outlet and Ubisoft's own Blacklist community newsletter. If you're one of the folks who received the latter, the August date can be found in the upper right corner, displayed in very tiny text.
As the new story goes, Sam Fisher needs to lead Fourth Echelon against a terrorist group and stop the Blacklist, a countdown of escalating attacks. If you thought Sam was ruthless before when he was tracking his daughter, Blacklist will probably blow your mind. Here's hoping they keep the emphasis on stealth and action though, not just action.
