NIS America delivers, localizing Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk for a March 5 release
Gust's latest Atelier game is coming state-side
Give thanks to NIS America and Tecmo Koei, they're stepping up and brining the latest Atelier game stateside. Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk will be released on March 5 (just like everything else) exclusively for the PlayStation 3. NIS will be doing the localization and Tecmo Koei will be publishing, but I think fans of the franchise can all agree everyone deserves a pat on the back for making sure Gust's latest game made it.
Atelier Ayesha will be a standalone title, or that is to say it is not part of the Arland saga, where the art of alchemy has been long forgotten. Ayesha takes care of a small shop after her grandfather passes away and her little sister goes missing. The game begins when Ayesha sees her sister Nio and chases after her. Add in some turn based combat and plenty of alchemy and this may be the best Atelier yet.
It's great to see the game is coming to North America, as there's definitely a growing fan-base for these sorts of games. Look forward to more information as we approach Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk's release, but in the mean time check out the screenshots we've got below.
