Video games are pretty great, which is why Steam Greenlight is such a brilliant idea. Basically, we get a reminder every month that there are great games being made that aren't triple A. This month's batch adds another eleven titles to Greenlight's roster, bringing its six month total to over sixty games. Think about that, six months and sixty games. Video games are so cool.
This month's batch of games has quite the variety. There's Kickstarter project like Akaneiro and Leisure Suit Larry, a timed Wii exclusive finally coming to PC in La-Mulana, and straight up indies like Asylum and Unepic. Here's the full list:
- Akaneiro: Demon Hunters
- DLC Quest
- Eador. Masters of the Broken World
- Leisure Suit Larry
- The Age of Decadence
- War For The Overworld
As for a majority of the games, I'm rather unfamiliar with most of them beyond having watched a trailer or two. As always, Steam has profiles up for each of the games if they sound like something interesting to you. A few still look a bit dodgy, as they're rather early prototypes and not full releases yet.
Look forward to more Greenlight approvals in another month or so. Same green time, same green place.
