how do u start this dlc?
Just visit the starting area. It's related to hunting or something, I don't think you'd miss it.

Well so far I'm not impressed with any of the DLC. At least Borderlands 1 DLC gave you something worthwhile, Moxxi's Underdome gave you a skill point per playthrough, General knoxx gave you new item rarity and 2 awsome places to farm for those, plus a level cap increase. Claptrap DLC gave you another skill point per playthrough aswell as a mini armory to loot, plus another level cap increase. What do you get from Borderlands 2 DLC? Um... a vehicle from DLC1. Um.... Crappy orange Tourge weapons that are 2 levels lower from DLC2. And I haven't finished the third yet.

I was lucky I got the season pass when it was mispriced on steam otherwise I would be very pissed off.
Feel sorry for the people who payed full price for it.

This DLC makes the Armory of General Knox and Clap Trap Revolution for Borderlands 1 look like a walk in the park. This DLC is tough because of the witch doctors, but more importantly the bosses.

Just got started and nope. No, not dealing with those freaking witch doctors. Should not take all 3 rockets and its reload(Tediore) to kill one that's 4 levels under me.
Well, The Bee is very effective at killing them. They tend to leave themselves open a lot.
Don't have the Bee.
That sucks.

Well, I'd suggest a good weapon with elemental damage over time that doesn't match their element. Naturally the Hellfire would be good, but I think the Submalevolent line of Maliwan SMGs are generally like wannabe hellfire/bad touch/good touch/etc. I would say SMGs are the best bet other than perhaps snipers. SMGs tend to combine good fire rate, decent elemental proc rate, and good accuracy. ARs are not really good because they tend to have low proc rates. Snipers tend to be 30% or higher, but have slow fire rate.

But yeah, I'll say again that against the witch doctors, if you don't have a bee, the best bet is to rely on a weapon that has high elemental damage and proc rate. Just make sure it doesn't match their element of course.

Yeah, this DLC is as short as people have been saying. 6 story missions? Try 4 or less. Or at least, it certainly felt that short.

I bought the season pass expecting a bit more from it. But I guess they've been a bit lazy with the content because they were coasting on the success of the first game's DLC.

For that matter, has any of the season DLC been developed in-house?

I haven't even completed Mr. Torgue's dlc yet... Just feel like there's no incentive to play them. Started the Big Game Hunt, waited for Hammerlock to fix the catch-a-ride, and felt like I had enough. Shouldn't have bought the season pass, but then, I thought they'd deliver some quality dlc. Oh, and as a sidenote, after hearing Hammerlock's "jokes", I wanted to put a bullet in his back.

So I started the dlc last night around 8:30pm. Finished all story missions and all side quests but 1 and killed Voracidous the Invincible around 11:30...

Short dlc? Yeah... if Capt Scarlet dlc is a 10, I would give Torgue dlc an 8 and this dlc a 3.

I may be a bit generous tho

I dont know whats stupider, the fact that these DLC's suck big time, or that there's only one more story DLC for them to redeem themselves.

HOLY SHIT that was short. It felt like the main story of this DLC took maybe 4-5 quests to finish. The writing is still top notch, and the comedy is better than ever, but god I am so sick of getting nothing worth while. I bought the season pass, and minus my anger over still having to wait for the level cap increase, I am sick of the loot that sucks, the useless eridium drops(I have everything, stop giving me this crap unless you are putting new things to buy with it in), the game's DLC feels worse than the first games DLC by far.

Not to mention the 5 or 6 glitches that hit me in the short time it took to beat the main story in the DLC.

BL2 base game >>>>>>>> BL1 Base game

but damn this DLC is just...while not terrible it's just not really offering anything to the table. BL2 is an AMAZING game but it has it's flaws, and so far the DLC isn't fixing any problems, expanding on any of the good stuff, giving any fantastic loot that you can go in again and again, or offering any fun boss battles. It's just a really expensive and large side mission with less than exotic locales.

Good thing I didn't bite on the season pass. Here's hoping DLC4 is a biggy, I'll start using bing again just so I can net me some free MSP (the only reason I got torque was because of bing, I got the DLC for $5).
