I think the smart designs are based on a country of origin, and that's were the designs came from. There's a reason England was selling little roadsters while America was selling 7.4l muscle cars. And it's not because of preference of the designers working for Ford vs MGB. It's because different countries want different things for different reasons.

Great designers come from many different countries and design for many different brands regardless of origin. Well at least the smart designs design for different brands regardless of country of origin

Yeah probably. But most countries also don't make as many ugly cars. American cars aren't really beautiful, they're just big square hunks of muscle. But they're generally not ugly.
It's hideous:

Back in the 70's that may have been true about the bricks but American styling has came a long way since the 90's imo
Thats because the Americans have got European designers in to build 'em a decent car.

A lot of British cars are really ugly. And most of them all look the same, because they are.
The only country who make more better looking cars than Britain is Italy

it looks like a hot wheels car and not like a respectable transformation of an iconic, 60ish year old car.
Agreed. I'm not quite so negative as you are, but it's not as sleek as the previous Corvette let alone the old Stingrays. And it really is just an evolution of the C6, why did they both renaming it Stingray?
And god, how do you cut out the circle tail-lights? You just can't go back on those styling motifs that have been around for 6 generations. It'd be like the Skyline dropping the hotplates!

Anyone driven it? Pretty nice, but I can't help but feel the handling is over-done. It turns in far too well. Take a corner, brake half-way through, and the nose just dives in. It's great fun, but that's not how cars work!

Aren't alot of cars that share the names with the older cars now? Wouldn't mind more British cars though. Most British cars have a history of being damn beautiful looking.

Yeah, I've seen the new Stingray, and the back looks like a Camaro. Which isn't right. Corvettes are iconic.

Set it to direct and it'll only notify you when someone actually messages you using the @_Username like J917 or through a quote. Not every time someone replies to the thread.

Just wondering though if this will be enough to entice a few gamers back to the game after a long time out. Maybe perhaps new challenges, cups or race tracks couldn't go amiss either.

I've never tried it myself, so you'll have to tell me how things work out for you.
Well, it says you and ibewhipped mentioned me in the news article, so I'm not sure. Don't think it has though, if it says you did and you haven't tagged me then there was no reason you should have appeared on it.
