2014 Corvette Stingray to be released as free DLC for Gran Turismo 5 tomorrow, is entirely too sexy
I don't know cars very well, but I can say quite confidently that is a sexy car
Everyone's favorite car seduction simulator Gran Turismo 5 will be getting some free DLC tomorrow in the form of the 2014 Corvette Stingray. As far as test drives go, you could do far worse. Technically, the Corvette Stingray has been in the game since November last year, but "camouflaged" as part of a marketing campaign. The real-life car was unveiled January 13 and so the actual the camouflage comes off and the full car is available in-game.
"The Corvette Stingray will produce an estimated 450 horsepower and 450 ft. lbs. of torque, is capable of accelerating from 0-60 in less than four seconds and will achieve more than 1g in cornering grip. It will also be the most fuel-efficient Corvette ever, exceeding the EPA-estimated 26 MPG of the current model."
Considering how little I know and really care about cars, you'd think I'd be rather apathetic about this reveal. That was true right up until I watched the trailer for the Corvette Stingray DLC. Is it possible for a video game car to be sexy? Is it right? If not, I think I prefer to be wrong.
Gran Turismo 5 is a PlayStation 3 exclusive released in November, 2010. While the game received mixed reviews, there's no argument that it makes cars look good.

That said I'm sure it'll be a performance monster like every other Corvette is.
Aren't alot of cars that share the names with the older cars now? Wouldn't mind more British cars though. Most British cars have a history of being damn beautiful looking.

(so beautiful - listen to it roar!)
Not sure I like the new one too much, looks too much like an Aston Martin.
Also, just noticed it's a SINGRAY
Edit: Actually from what I can see, it is spelt right in the article title, but not in the thread title in the forum, no idea what has happened there.
