Those patent pictures are pretty freaking amazing. Something is so wrong with that dude's head in the "Moverang" picture. hahaha

If your gonna attach move wands to your feet wouldn't it just be easier (and cheaper for the consumer) to just ripoff Microsoft and make a bloody super camera? Be original and call it Konect or something as per usual Sony "innovation" fashion.

But given Sony's love for selling add-ons, add-ons and more glorious unnecessary peripherals and add-ons I can totally see them doing this.

Somehow I don't imagine figure 21 working too well, especially if each person needs 4 controllers. Figure 9B kinda reminds me of a magic wand or staff.

i love the ideas the Microsoft and Sony come up with but to say i'm still excited about the whole move generation as a user is a bad idea.

they keep trying that's what matters right now.

I don't know why figure 21 is getting so much attention, just looks like a typical gamer doing what typical gamers do

I hope it doesn't need a big 100 meter room like Xbox 360's Kinect...

Btw, the first 10 images or so really are showing a method to solve the problem with the controllers losing calibration when you move around, or give the controllers to someone next to you on the sofa, that sort of thing.

Might be possible to continuously adjust the delta this way during gameplay.. If you've played The Fight, for example - this could be keep the calibration stable after you take a few steps back or to the side, that sort of thing. Or you could trigger a dodge, or move the figure by walking around the room - and then still have perfect calibration towards the screen/camera delta.

I tried figure 21 and just ended up hurting my back -_-
Can't wait for figure 92, Olympic diving edition.
Hope there's never a reason for that many controllers
