Not a surprise, but new trailer confirms Muramasa: The Demon Blade looks great on PS Vita too
Four new characters and four new scenarios
Another great looking Japanese only release (for now) to share with everyone. Here's the trailer for the PlayStation Vita release of Muramasa: The Demon Blade, or Oboro Muramasa as it's named in Japan. The beautifully hand drawn 2D action game will be a perfect title to showcase the visuals of Sony's handheld, a fidelity almost wasted on Wii. Add in plenty of extra content and lets cross our fingers it comes overseas.
Along with the full Wii game, the PS Vita edition of Muramasa will also include four new playable characters (perhaps the ones in the title image), as well as four new short scenarios. The four new characters are:
- Nekomata Okoi, cat-girl
- Gonbee, farmer
- Arashimaru, ninja
- Rajaki, imp
These four characters will join the two previous protagonists, Momohime and Kisuke.
Muramasa: The Demon Blade will be releasing in Japan on March 28 for the PlayStation 28. There are already rumors that the port will be coming to North America and beyond, as the title popped up in a poll on the US PlayStation Blog. Hopefully we'll here more on that soon. Otherwise, check out the trailer and enjoy.
