CD Projekt RED February 5 announcement teased in Cyberpunk 2077 trailer, likely Witcher 3
How does CD Projekt Red manage to be so rad?
A letter to the community from the CD Projekt Red team was found hidden in today's beyond epic Cyberpunk 2077 trailer. Yes, a full letter hidden in a few frames at the 2:14 mark. It turns out the biggest news of the day may not have been the trailer itself, but the teaser hidden within it for an announcement coming February 5. Why? Because we're likely only weeks away from the announcement of The Witcher 3.
Check out more details about Cyberpunk 2077 in Lydia's article on the trailer. The relevant section of the letter that we want is here though:
"And that's not all that's new. We are about the reveal our other project which is much closer to being completed and yes, it will also be a fully open-world game with an intense story. You can probably guess the game we're talking about :-) On the 5th of February it will all be clear."
Considering the only games CD Projekt RED has developed are The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, if they say, "You can probably guess," then we can probably guess they're talking about The Witcher 3 or a side-project from the same universe.
Witcher fans get hyped and look forward to a full announcement on February 5, which I wouldn't be surprised to see is planned for release in 2013. Props to CD Projekt RED for making such a great trailer and teasing an even more epic announcement in there for fans to discover.

Loved the first game but since I can't afford a new computer I just got it on the 360. Looked surprising good but obviously not as good as the PC version. Since 360 copies sold pretty close to the amount of PC copies, I'm guessing It'll come out on 360/ps3 as well.
Also, I may be the only the only one, but I am far more excited for another Witcher game.
You may still have a hope for Fallout 4 this year but I do believe that any game not announced already won't be on current gen. Bethesda have already made three games on this hardware and I don't see them trying to shoehorn one more game on this already aged hardware.
I think Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3 may make 2014 a good year for RPG's and it may be the push many people need to buy a next gen console, but I don't see them out this year. Also for those looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 that game is apparently scheduled for 2015 on CD Projekt Red's release road map.
I have a PC so It wouldn't affect me if it's next-gen console or not.
