As always, annual rage about xbox getting it first.
I think that, instead of getting it earlier, it would make more sense for 360 owners to get it cheaper since they already have to pay to play online. I also think that cheaper DLC might be a more effective marketing tool than earlier DLC is, but that's just wild assumption on my part.

Of course, I'd ideally prefer both consoles to get the DLC at the same time for the same price and for 360 owners to not have to pay for Live, but neither of those things seems likely any time soon.

I think the xbox contract runs out for this game so the next cod will be out on all consoles at the same time along with DLC

Wasn't the first ever gun in a Call of Duty DLC the AK74U in MW3? I'm pretty sure it was.
No,that was only in a spec ops mission, never came to multiplayer. It was in since the beginning too.

What you said about them running out of time for Diner and Power Plant - is that just your speculation or has that been confirmed by them?
The DIner was definatly in development as a standalone map, they mentioned it on twitter at some point. Power Plant has been speculated to also be a standalone map because its the other location on the map you can see clearly.

Not sure about clearly....you can see it if you look hard enough, but there are many other places that work the same, the church, the cornfield, etc.

Bro you're a year late, it ran out after MW3, but was renewed. Microsoft's endless pile of money keeps on giving.

I'm thinking that instead of having the Bus Driver in Die Rise, it's going to be elevators instead. They mentioned skyscrapers in the map, so maybe you have to take elevators to the tops of them to get at the good stuff. Idk, just an idea.

I like how they announce the new gun like it's the most important day in history and should be recorded forever.

"ON JANUARY 29TH THE CALL OF DUTY FRANCHISE WILL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY OF EVER RELEASE A NEW GUN THAT WILL SURELY DISAPPOINT IT'S FANS JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER GUN IN THE GAME, AS DLC. YOU CAN BUY THIS SHITTY GUN FOR GIVING US WAY MORE MONEY THAN IT'S ACTUALLY WORTH. WE ARE TRICKING YOU INTO PAYING TWO TIMES WHAT THE ACTUAL GAME COSTS."

Like seriously? Who the *bleep* cares? 9 out of 10 guns are shit in this game.

And the maps look shitty too, except for Downhill. Even they know the maps are shit when all they have to say about them is "Yeah, this map has curves."

Throwing shitty unrealistic waves of water in a map won't make it look cool anymore. But why would Treyarch care about the quality of the maps? They already have the money of everyone who bought the season pass. They can *bleep*ing remake old maps if they want and there's not a damn thing anyone could do about it.

And all of the Zombies maps have been a disappointment so far in comparison to Der Riese and Verruckt. (Seriously the name Die Rise? Can't even come up with a different name). The game type Turned could be cool if you're just dicking around with friends. The last thing zombie players want right now is a giant skyscraper maze type building where you can't tell if you are going up or down. Just adds more confusion.

I don't actually know any zombies players who don't like the sound of the new map tbh. Including myself.

MyShilohMy, To be honest that gun actually makes the map pack incredibly good value if you've seen what guns sell for in games like Planetside 2. A gun can set you back $8 in that game more than half the cost of this map pack, I guess Planetside 2 gets away with it as the game is free to play but in the grand scheme of DLC and add-on content the Call of Duty map packs are becoming surprisingly good value for money.

If we break down this map pack we have 4 multiplayer maps, a zombies campaign map which will more than likely be broken down into between 3-5 survival maps and a gun which many games with add-on guns would sell for $8. So looking at it that way there is a lot of content for the $15 they are asking for even less if you get the Season Pass though with that you have to put your faith in the other three packs being as content filled which I am sure they will be. For once I am actually praising a map pack for it's value, typically they aren't value for money so this is a good step in the right direction for Call of Duty.

Except Downhill?! EXCEPT Downhill?!? "Oh yeah, let's make a friggin snow map, I don't know if we've ever thought of one of those, the visibility's great, people stand out from their surroundings, yeah, frikkin great idea. And, and, and, oh my, let's revolutionise it! Gondolas travelling at 5kph, yeah, they'll insta kill you." Seriously, you know a map's going to be shit when the footage released has one scene of a sniper in a building. Seriously mate, give me one other Call of Duty map where the walls were curved. It WILL be extremely different from every Call of Duty map. Let me guess, you were probably one of those guys bitching about headglitches. Dude, I've got news for you, headglitching behind curved walls won't do you any good, and how many barrels and boxes can they put on a skatepark before they question the realism?

Don't you ever, EVER, tell me that a snow map will be good, please. Save me from the brain hemorrhage.
