The games set in Paris? Froakies pokedex entry better be "People often hunt this Pokemon for it's delicious legs which they often eat with a side of salad."

I welcome the new models. It's about time we moved on to something else other than sprites. Although I did enjoy it, I wasn't fond of how the sprite work was zoomed in on your party Pokemon on Black/White and Black 2/White 2, it looked horrible.

I will miss the sprites as well. I'm not upset they went with 3D models, I was expecting it in fact, but Pokemon was one of the final bastions of old school designs in mainstream games and it's sad to see it go "modern".

Anyway, I'm very excited to see this news. I'm not particularly impressed with any of the starters, but that's not unusual for me. I'll probably go with the grass one for the first play-through, though that may change as other evolution or new pokemon are revealed. The Y legendary is freakin' awesome though. The X legendary looks like one of the three legendary things from B/W, so that's a bit disappointing. Either way, can't wait for October.

Well I think it's not only in "Paris", and I think the new region will probably be based on some parts of Europe much like how Unova was based on the US.

Every new generation of Pokemon look weird or "not like Pokemon" at first. You'll get use to them after seeing them so much.

I want to see the evolved forms.

I also hope you can change the trainers appearance. Didn't get a good view of the female trainer but the male one looks aweful.

Hopefully they add new evolutions and prevolutions to existing pokemon. That was something I missed from black and white

Froakie reminds me of Frogfucius from Super Mario RPG:Legend of the Seven Stars,Chespin looks kind of like a Grass type Oshawott, and Fennekin's incredibly adorable.

Depending on what it evolves into,Fennekin may very well become my new favorite Starter...

I never got used to the trashbag pokemon, or the icecream cone one.

Hmm, the water type looks interesting tbh. I hope beyond all hope that they don't pull an oshawott on it. As in make the third evo go to four legs. That was pretty stupid tbh. They could make it like Croagunk.

Fire type looks pretty meh, like a Zorua/Shaymin clone with Minccino ears or something.

I also hope they stop the fire/fighter combo, it got very old very fast.

I'm super tempted for a 3DS now, not gonna lie.

These starter Pokemon designs are getting really... complex.
Not that that's a bad thing per ce, but they are just starter Pokemon.
