This is not a holodeck, just a TV suppliment. Who knows how well it'll actually work not to mention your walls have to be bare and probably should be close to white in color.

Isn't it possible it could just be some sort of graphical 'surround-sound' type immersion enhancer?

I might end up arranging to play the Boo Galaxy in SMG3 on the Wii-U while my brother plays a horror game on this if so.

Disconnecting from EA's servers will be 4 times more painful!

The way MS has been pushing Kinect I'm no actuallyt too surprised they're trying to come up with some sort of holodeck. They might run into one of 3D's biggest problems here though, eye glasses.

Well your already insane with that horrible lag. It's a miracle you don't get disconnected from single player games.

Wouldn't the image of that be the kind of thing that drives therapists insane, peels paint off of walls, and eats butterflies?

I've had enough of your snide insinuations. *punch* But yeah, considering the one on Star Trek malfunctioned more than it worked, I don't have high hopes for holodeck technology.

EDIT: Help! I've started reading all my posts in Fuuka's voice! D:

Only if I can holochat Axe that way I can determine for myself if he looks like a rapist or a 80's pornstar.

Honestly, I've been waiting for virtual reality to kick in my entire gaming life. But, if they wanna make this thing intractable there should be a hologram that is projected somewhere in your gaming space say when you come close to a tree, or a person. So, what I'm saying is that the closer you get to the selected item, the smallest details count, then when it enters the area that is no longer far enough to still be on the wall it would be in your gaming place. But, then they'd have to make something similar to the Kinect but it would have to be able to cover your whole gaming place. Too much work for me, but, a gaming company may try that out sometime and if it works, they will definitely profit greatly.

Yeah. Not buying it.
There are way too many issues that would come up with something like this.
