Awesome, just awesome. As a long time id Software fan, waits never bothered me. I usually trust that delays mean a higher quality end product, and that certainly seems the case for DayZ. I believe I've heard most, if not all of the houses will become explorable? This would be a huge improvement; I'm a little sick of running to a house from zombies, only to find the door is painted on XD

Well, I'll likely get both the pc version and the console version, just cause I can. Here's to seeing the console port before 2014.

i really want to know if there will be a console version for ps3 and xbox. i would buy a new harddrive just for this game

AngelFNV I'm not sure what you mean by "registered with DayZ". Was there something purchasable in the mod before?

The standalone game will have a price, I'm thinking between $15 and $30.

This is amazing news! But my question is, should this become a full game of its self not a mod for Arma 2. Will the players who are registered with Day Z have free access to the new Day Z full game ?? Or are we all going to have to pay like War Z ??
