I downloaded the first one a couple of days ago, and I am tempted to buy the rest of the episodes because of how cheap they are. I still haven't played it and probably won't get around to it today. But can someone sell it to me so I can commit myself to buying it?

... I can only convince you not to buy it, you will play it around 3 times then never again, as the story changes with decisions you make but the end outcome is generally the same. you would probably be better off watching a lets play on you tube if you're interested in the different story arcs rather then spending the hours replaying just to see the subtle differences between choices you make and the ending of the game.

Thanks for your input omnious. I usually play things once and don't replay them unless things change drastically(Infamous comes to mind in terms of power). I am also wondering how long are they? I know it's not about killing zombies but about surviving, just insterested in how long it'll take to finish them.

I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this. All the episodes I've played so far are glitchy and have crappy frame rate. But, once you get pass that the story is good.

I'll have to skip on this since I have no msp. I got the first one a few days ago so I'll probably play through it and see if these are games that I'll like or not.

That's not really a good enough reason to not buy a game. There are loads of games with 100% linear storylines that are still worth buying and playing through, let alone something whose storyline is about 85% linear. =/

Odd, I bought and played each on day one of their releases and had no issues. I mean at all. Also glad you didn't pay full price? So what, you mean 5 bucks each.... WOOOO BIG SPENDER! Lol.

lod-squa I can say that going into the first one I had never played a point and click adventure game, and was happy that I hadn't. But the games story does so much to suck you in that even if you don't like the gameplay at first, you will end up enjoying it later on. I hated the gameplay up until I left clem's house, then It started to grow on me. Honestly I say play the first, and if you like it, then you wlll enjoy all the others. There is a reason they were nominated for Game of the year by several different organizations, and a reason they won it on the VGA's. The simple fact that a POINT AND CLICK adventure game won Game of the Year should hint at just how good they are.

It is amazing that TT can get people who have never played a point and click adventure so wrapped up in their game with such amazing storytelling and gameplay. I love it.

Could not recommend this game highly enough, although I would recommend picking it up on the PC rather than on console as it far less buggy. My personal game of the year, and that's a very sweet price for a very sweet game.

It's a little less black and white then I've made it sound, but if a game is... story based for lack of a better term, rather then game play, then I'd definitely watch a bit of a lets play and If it looks like I'd enjoy running through the story then I'd probably get it.

The reason I was quite blunt with this is because you don't feel the choices you make have made a difference, when the outcome is always the exact same, as well as when one of the main selling points is the multiple choices. Heavy rain is a great example of a story based game where you DO make a colossal difference to the game with the choices you make.

Buy it. It'll be down to you if you enjoy point and clicks and an interest in The Walking Dead series would help. It's more like an interactive story, but I actually felt when I was playing it that the decisions I made mattered, and there definitely are some that do...and might carry over into series 2 in regards to the ending.

If you want to be entertained by a good story, then $10 is a steal. You'll get hours of ganeplay, what else could you get for that price that gives you that level and length of entertainment? Even if you do only play it through once.
