Fresh concept art is here for Dark Souls 2 -- the next hopefully still hardcore RPG courtesy of From Software.
Most of the 12 shots feature disturbing enemies, like a half-man half-horrific insect creature or the badass motherf*cker riding the chariot of death, but there's a couple bits of gorgeous scenery, too, plus a little look at some weapons and equipment. Check below to see it all for yourself.
No current date is set for the release of Dark Souls 2, but we'll keep you posted as ever.

Really like the artwork. Certainly catches the Souls feel. I hope the gameplay is not far off now.

Apparently Shibuya stated he hasn't a mind to want to mess with the controls. If anything he may tighten up the actual visual combat animations, like making them less jerky or stiff, and giving a better range of motion for some of the weapons and such.

That's a bit more reassuring, previous talk had included vague comments mentioning 'more action' and vehicles. It had started alarm bells ringing with me about where the series was going, so if what you say is true it's very good news.

Really liking that Dwarven lookin dude.. That armor IS SO BAD ASS, its like a bunch of bricks connected with rope... I had never seen these pics yet, but from the looks of it, this game is LOOKIN GRIMMMEY... I hope there's some more gore =)
