Valve games available during the beta
The Beta is now open for the Linix Beta to steam users operating on the Ubuntu operating system. For those wishing to take part you can download Ubuntu 12.04 LTS from Steam and begin playing games through Steam optimised for Linux users.
Those that are taking part in the Beta can currently only play three Valve games; Portal, Team Fortress 2, and Serious Sam 3. There are also currently plans to add Left 4 Dead 2 to that list.
While the beta has been around a while, it was only open a select group of Steam users, and now is open for everyone to use.

There's no Linux version of Portal yet. I think it's in the work but not yet accessible.

Could you please tell me how to get Portal on Linux? I own it, but it says "Portal is not available on your current platform."
