wut It's a modern god-sim that takes inspiration from Populous, yeah. It's for PC/mobile games.

Hell, if it was just a Populous port I'd be down with that too.

I'm not so hot on supporting big companies through kickstarter. I thought the idea of Kickstarter was for small indie developers to get some extra funding for their development. Now you have well established developers strolling in doing it. I'm kind of "Wtf?" at Peter Molyneux doing Kickstarter.

One of the major complaints of Videogame devs is they have to answer to financial backers and thus things don't go the fans way. Mass Effect and and other such games. Allowing a 'big' games dev get money and is only anwerable to fans is better. And 22cans is not Lionshead studio... they are an indie dev as well they just happen to have somebody marginally famous on board. Your argument is thus moot.
