Metro: Last Light will be released next spring, hopefully some time in March, and today THQ announced a Limited Edition for their upcoming post-apocalyptic horror show. As many Limited Editions tend to be, this special bundle includes a number of extras at no additional cost over the standard version. The catch is you're going to have to pre-order the game or somehow grab a copy once it's officially out.
So what's $60 and a reservation get you? This stuff:
- A retail copy of the game
- “Ranger Mode” (difficulty from Metro: 2033)
- Ranger load-out, containing bonus military grade bullets to spend on weapon upgrades and equipment
- Deadly AKS-74U modified Russian rifle
If you're planning to snag the game on PSN, the Limited Edition digital version for the PlayStation Network will also get a copy of Homefront for free at launch. You'll also get a special Last Light PSN theme -- at pre-order, not launch.
Otherwise, feel free to reserve Last Light just about anywhere you usually buy games. Of course, the THQ Store is also an option.
