Crysis 3 CG series '7 Wonders' begins, has plenty of CryENGINE 3 eye candy

Ever wonder what Crysis 3 might possibly look like if Crytek could go all out? Well, that's what the whole 7 Wonders of Crysis 3 web series is supposed to show. Kicking off today, this series -- a project directed by filmmaker Albert Hughes -- essentially shows just what the CryENGINE 3 is capable of, while offering a glimpse of the in-game world.

Granted, this isn't how the game itself will look like for most of us, but we can always pretend. The whole thing is seen from a first-person perspective as you would while playing, minus the HUD, obviously. Most of the footage we're seeing is actually in-game.

All we can ask, though, is why those patrol troops keep yelling at each other and giving their positions away. Either way, here's the first episode.
