This whole BioShock: Infinite box art controversy really spun way out of control, but Ken Levine seems to be doing his best to sate the frustrated community. Today brought about the reveal that Irrational would include a reversible cover for BioShock: Infinite, and better yet Ken posted a poll to see which art the community would want. It pleases me to say that the most popular so far are the most different from the original cover art. Keep video game weird, mine fellow nerds!
What's odd to me, however, is that several of the options are just alternative configurations of the original box art that has been shown. Is Irrational serious about using a reversible cover? Are they entirely set on the box art they have? Because the poll as it is comes across more as marketing research than what Levine claims it is. Luckily, the more unique and creative pieces are way ahead in the polls.
Head on over to the Irrational Games blog and vote on what cover art you think would be best on the reversible side of BioShock: Infinite. Remember, this is not for the main art, this if for the reversible side. Or, wait a couple months until the game is released on March 26 and see the results yourself.
