Assassin's Creed 3 lands 7 million sales a month after release, over 3 billion in-game kills so far
"Successful" would probably be an understatement
Ubisoft announced today (quite happily, we imagine) that Assassin's Creed III has sold seven million copies worldwide. That's quite a milestone, considering the game's only been out a month.
In that time span, Ubisoft also counts over three billion in-game assassinations, at least on the solo campaign front. In multiplayer, more than 250 million kills have been carried out across five billion-plus matches. Impressively enough, the multiplayer community in Assassin's Creed III is double that of Revelations' competitive online community.
Like just about every high profile title these days, this one does offer a Season Pass option for DLC. For $30, PS3 and Xbox 360 owners can pre-purchase some of the upcoming content. Ubi has promised that all DLC will also be available for the Wii U version. We're pretty sure Wii U owners appreciate the third party support, too, especially considering not all publishers are able to provide such.

Good on them, I say.
Should have fixed the glitches before they released it to 7 million people though.
Funny though, just the other day I was playing on my Wii u and a little notification popped up saying I had achieved top 50% for total kills. I take it there aren't very many Wii u players out there, 'cause I only have about 200 kills. lol
