and maybe a bit of a tutorial. Tutorial? Who am I kidding, it would have to be titled, "How to die 1000 times and try again."
Everytime I hear something like this about dark souls I crack up a bit and cry a little at the same time -.-
I'm not touching dark souls 2, nuh uh, or atleast I'll try lol.

I think the only trailer I didn't like was the trailer for The Last of Us. That game was looking great when it was just Joel and Ellie against the world fighting to survive in an I Am Legend style World.

Now that I know there are lots of survivors, I don't know the intrigue is gone for me somewhat. I was hoping this game would be a bit like The Road where it just two characters trying to survive, but now it looks almost like Red Dead Redemption in a plant zombie/bandit World. I'm still going to play it, but I think finding other survivors in a town would have had more impact had it been a reveal in game not in a trailer..

The Last of US trailer looks great...Wait, the protagonist, the man, looks like a guy called 'Irish' from 'Red Dead Redemption'...Any relation so far between RDD and TLU??

THM Nothing Naughty Dog's lawyers would ever admit to.

BlackLabel We saw other humans in the very first trailer (released at last year's VGAs). Naughty Dog has never made it seem like it was going to be two people against the world.

I for one, am happy that there seems to be more focus on human vs human interactions rather than one man mowing down hordes of zombies, like in most zombie games. Even the zombies in The Last of Us aren't like normal zombies. And you have to admit, most post-apocalyptic games are set in gray-brown wastelands, so Naughty Dog's vision of a colorful, overgrown world where nature is reclaiming everything is refreshing.

BlackLabel I kinda agree, I liked the tension created from the "Last two people on Earth" atmosphere. Now it's more like The Walking Dead. I don't think that's bad, I think it's great, but it's definitely a lot different than how I was envisioning it before.
