Oh yeah, its TOTALLY the fact it has zombies in it, and not because its one of the most well-written, emotionally charged games in recent history or anything.

One of the MC's called Gabe Newell, 'Gary'. Someone was prob screaming into her ear piece she fuxed up because moments later she interrupted and corrected herself, which made it even more awkward.

Gaben is one of the most well known, and popular faces in the industry. This girl has no idea what she's talking about, probably only owns a Wii, and Wii Fit then calls herself a gamer.



She apologized on Twitter;



that's not actually Gabe Newell; some unverified random person.

Can't wait to play the game tbh. Computer can't run it so I'm waiting for them to package all episodes and sell them on Xbox. Love good stories.

Except the people that would be excited about the game would also be into the comics and the show. And anybody who's been watching the show and loves the comics to death has been dissappointed with the show's first two seasons. So why would they vote for something blindly when the freshest memory of the franchise is skewed? Just accept the fact that people enjoy good stories and original experiences. If you're on a gaming website you should be happy.

I'm really glad the Walking Dead won. A story driven indie game taking home goty honors in the biggest award show for the industry is huge and hopefully puts the onus on AAA devs to actually try to diverge from their copy paste mentality that has made them millions. Mass Effect was disappointing and AC has always been boring to me. Three original IPs in a five nominee category? I'd say that's progress, and anybody who wanted "Generic grey-and-brown-pallette shooter 2012" to win should be ashamed to call themselves a gamer.
