Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2 promo DLC now available free
BioWare feeling generous
For some unknown reason, BioWare has decided to give away a boatload of free DLC for the exquisite Dragon Age: Origins and the less exquisite Dragon Age 2. This is all old stuff, mind you, but some of it is rare, like the previously 2011 San Diego Comic Con exclusive Fan Reward Pack.
Basically what you get is a swathe of loot, which could provide a great excuse or reason to slog through the original game on Nightmare, fully equipped.
Head here and login to claim your digs (platform irrelevant). Note you don't actually need to own either game to do so -- if you pick either up in the future, you'll be able to install the content then.

Actually already finished DA:O, but you can literally replay that game in so many ways and I still have to finish awakenings. So I'll be sure to use this.
Or will I have to go into the menus and download myself, just for free?
just in case this is the first time you receive the DA promos: in DAO you can pick up the free items from Bodahn Feddic (http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Bodahn_Feddic) and in DA2 you can find the items in your storage chest found at the home/estate.
enjoy your loot =)
