It was just a couple days ago when Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Dragonborn would appear on the PC and PS3 early next year. This is the first time there's been something definitive on Skyrim DLC for the PS3, and is certainly welcome news. Bethesda has also revealed a little something extra for PS3 gamers, as once work is completed on Dragonborn then the attention will shift to bringing Dawnguard and Hearthfire to the console.
The studio thought it was best to focus on bringing Dragonborn to the PS3 first, especially since there has already been a lengthy wait for any Skyrim DLC on Sony's console. Afterwards, work can shift back to the other DLC to finally let PS3 gamers experience everything everyone else can. Bethesda did not mention any specifics for a release date or price for any DLC, but hopefully there isn't too long of a wait. At least there's Dragonborn and the journey to Solstheim to help pass the time.
