I wouldn't recommend getting this on release day. I'm going to wait a while and see if it actually works before buying it.

I mean, they expect us to believe that they haven't been able to make older DLC even playable on the PS3 for months, yet this newer and (seemingly) larger DLC is going to work just fine? I don't see that logic in that. I think they're just trying to release something to shut people up, whether it's fully functional or not.

EDIT: If it isn't clear, I'm talking about the Dragonborn DLC. I forgot to mention that. :/

Drogo Baggins I would agree, but I think Solstheim is a fairly self contained game DLC. Like Shivering isles. Its not part of the existing map you get taken there, to a separate map.

Anyway many of the things in this title make Dawnguard obsolete... And Hearthfire, while great for RPing, is largely unnecessary too. Still want to play all of them though.

In that case, I'm more optimistic.

For the record, I honestly haven't minded not having DLC. I got 160+ hours of entertainment out of a $60 product that I didn't even buy with my own money. I don't feel I can ask for much more than that.

However, I do feel really bad for the other PS3 Skyrim owners who are dying for more content, so I'm going to be really sad in that respect if this DLC ends up just being a big mess. For their sakes, I hope this all works out.

I quoted and my Google Chrome's spell check lit up. The code for PS3 is different than the 360's and PC's. To put DG and HF to PS they had to rewrite ALL the code.
This is fact.
They probably have re-written most of the code and once they did they probably started working on DragonBorn to get it out on time. That's just IMO though.

Its fine. I have patience. I still haven't finished skyrim, the only thing I've accomplished is getting 100% completion. But there is still much to do I still have fun even without dlc.

Jesus, has spelling really become that difficult?! I for one cannot wait until all of the DLC are released, I love Skyrim as it is but it can't hurt to have something extra as well can it? Especially as I've stayed away from all the 360 reviews of them so I have no idea what to expect...
