Cheating by abusing Smithing/Enchanting/Alchemy and/or playing on Novice difficulty then whining about the game being too easy makes as much sense as going into God Mode via the console and complaining that nobody in the game is capable of killing you. Of COURSE nobody in the game is going to be a challenge if you have OP weapons that do 500 damage or whatever, the game would be insanely hard if it was designed to be challenging even for cheaters.

So first time did it straight up had to use three ultimate healing potions and I do 424 + 14 for the bolt + 70 for fire and shock dam and 10 from exploding bolt redid it using companions and sneaking and clear skies and took him down in three shots and you can pick pocket his arrows and potions before the fight

He's probably meant to be an homage to Umbra, but the Umbra sword was destroyed in the second Greg Keyes novel and doesn't exist in lore any more. (It was a piece of Clavicus Vile's soul that had a mind of its own. He reabsorbed it after it rebelled against him and stole a bunch of his power. Tried to make itself a new Daedric Prince called Umbriel. Nearly succeeded.)

I think the Ebony Warrior is Bethesda's way of paying tribute to the Umbra fights in previous games. He's still not the toughest thing out there though. Karstaag caused me more pain.

If I want to fight a hard enemy I give my house carl 5 ultimate healing potions, give him the Sanguine rose, give him an item that will make his health as high as Alduin's, give him daedric armor that makes him resistante to all forms of magic, and give him a Daedric sword that does 109 points of damage that is enchanted to do 38 points of fire damage, and 31 points of shock damage. Enjoy as you die in two hits, getting chased by a Dremora for 60 seconds, and fighting your way through a long ass fight, as you can see he dose'nt sound easy and you're right he is'nt easy, actually he's really hard.

He is extremely hard, I did it on my glitched level 81 assassin, on master difficulty, and died about 4 or 5 times before I gave up on a direct approach to make it fun, and just slit his throat from behind.

My assassin with 114 damage/fire/frost dagger took about 2 minutes. Had to drink a few potions.

I dunno if i'm the total noob or those guys did something to their game.
I'm level 81, my equips are legendary daedric greatsword, with all of my legendary armor (daedric boots, gauntlets, necklace and ring) enchanted for 40% extra two handed weapon damage, yeah my sword's damage reached 350 something, maybe even close to 400 i don't really remember, not counting my abundant criticals from the perk, and i still have to spam grand healing just to prevent myself from being beheaded by this guy.

And he still managed to kill me a few times with no magic (except his healing and frost cloak), using only his.sword and his crazy paralyzing bow.
Heck, even with marked for death shout, my running power attack didn't do much to him.
Yes the damage was quite significant, but he always managed to paralyze me with his point blank shot from his bow and then proceeded to hack my life away with his sword while i was still cramping on the ground.

Anyways, now that i've killed this guy, i'm in no hurry to fight karstaag, i still have to collect my shattered pride first, lol.

I thunderbolted him to Sovngarde quite easily. Not much of a challenge, to be honest, though it may be due to the rebalancing mods I have installed. On the other hand, as a mage you're used to keeping distance between you and your enemy, and what can't hit you can't kill you. So fifty-fifty whether it's because of mods or not.

This guy is a good challenge. i took 5 tries to kill this guy. I used shout (Fus Ro Da) and my shield to put him down for most times and bang him with my Mace xD. But it was luck that finally gave me victory. Yes its the Mehrune's Razor that killed him for me in one hit finally.
