Assassin's Creed 3 very first DLC 'Hidden Secrets Pack' adds three missions, Season Pass only for now

The very first piece of Assassin's Creed 3 downloadable content has arrived, at least for Season Pass holders. The "Hidden Secrets Pack" hit Xbox 360, PS3, and PC today via their respective distribution platforms, with a Wii U release planned for "a later date."

The DLC adds three more missions to the core game: Lost Mayan Ruins, Ghost of war, and Dangerous Secret. According to Ubisoft's own estimate, these missions make up about an hour of additional gameplay, and success will be rewarded with in-game weapons.

In addition to actual playable content, Hidden Secrets also introduces two more costumes -- a Captain of the Aquila uniform and traditional Colonial Assassin outfit -- for Connor in the campaign.  On the multiplayer side of things, you're getting access to two new multiplayer characters, the Redcoat and Sharpshooter.

If you don't actually own the Season Pass but still kind of want the DLC, Hidden Secrets will be available to all starting December 11.

Upcoming DLC includes the what-if scenario "Tyranny of King Washington," and a "Battle Hardened Pack."
