Microsoft only had a deal for Dawnguard and Hearthfire. As for shitting on PC, you realise that 360 got it before PS3 and PC right? PC still had to wait too.
That's not "Shitting on", that's the entire goddamn point of an exclusitivity deal.
Get away, i would never have guessed...

Exclusitivity deal is shitting on people. Sure they're a business but no one held a gun to their head and made them, and financially they're sound, they didn't need the money. Don't get me wrong, if i were in their shoes i'd do the deal, but they still shit on us by not giving updates and such.

They've always been a part of Microsoft.
Technically they're not a part of M$, they just have a very good relationship with them, and bum the 360.

I'd hardly say they bum the 360 It make sense as you put it that they have a good relationship and therefore offer better deals to the 360. Common sense really.

Of course, and i love that kind of loyalty to consoles. But obviously not when it's me that losing out

I know, i sound like a child >.<

I've moved on from Skyrim anyway. I'm not even sure this DLC will entice me back to it. I know it's gonna be Skyrims biggest yet but still. The game just feels stale, and there are other games to play.

Exclusitivity deal is shitting on people.
No. No it's not. Total Exclusivity deals (see Uncharted, Gears of War, Halo, God of War, etc) mean that only a single platform will get the game. That's not shitting on anyone, it's how console manufacturers convince people to buy multiple platforms.

TIMED Exclusive, which is what Bethesda has with Microsoft, just means the other platforms have to wait a short period of time to get the game.

Again, this is not shitting on anyone and your day is not going to be ruined just because Bethesda releases DLC on a console you don't own first. I'm a PC gamer and I have no animosity to Bethesda at all. The amount of support they give the modding community is almost unequaled in the industry.

Now, PS3 owners on the other hand... I can certainly see them being upset at this point. That's not because of some deal with Microsoft, though. It's because they're having an unusual amount of trouble getting the content working right on the platform. It's entirely a Bethesda thing, and blaming their timed exclusive deal with Microsoft is just silly.

Completely agree with Krantos. I'm not upset about the exclusivity deal, I'm just upset that the period the deal ran for finished months ago and we still don't have any DLC. I still have a lot to do in Skyrim and I don't find the game stale, but I would still like to have more content.

I really want to try it on PC though so I'm gonna give it a download later on. No save files going missing, shorter loading times and more flexibility should be fun.

Timed exclusiveness don't bother me at all, what a month or two really? but something for whiny kiddos to whine on about
I have a 360, a PS3 and a very good gaming computer too so for myself I can just choose where to play but making the game's base code so damn crappy they can't even release DLCs to one of the platforms for fear it would just crash and bug out for too many players? Well that is ground for some more legit complaints in my book.

I'll blame who i feel is to blame thank you, it's called opinion. I'm a PC and PS3 gamer, so i know how it is to get the short end of the stick. Where Beth is concerned, PS3 get a really shitty deal, considering 360 obviously get the exclusive deals, and PC get Mods(Though most of them arn't that good), even so the PC do get stuff over PS3.

And i'm well aware of exclusive deals and what they involve thank you, having been a PS3 gamer for 3 or 4 years before i got my PC.

I'm not entirely sure assigning blame is a matter of opinion, frankly. Either something is responsible for something else, or it's not. Not really opinion material. Now, you can have theories about who is to blame. However, unlike opinions, theories can be wrong, and you can expect people to call you out when they feel that is the case.

It makes no sense for Bethesda to be intentionally pissing off the PS3 owners (which you'll note, I agreed have a reason to be upset). You'll also note they are admitting it's their fault, they're not attempting to blame the system in any way. This entire situation is bad press for them, so there's no logical reason for them to do it.

The exclusivity deal with Microsoft only lasts a month, so the reason PS3 hasn't gotten Dawnguard and Hearthfire isn't likely tied to that.

So why is the DLC out on PC and not PS3? Well, as you probably already know, the 360 is like a mini PC. The two have very similar architectures and systems so build for one and you've basically built for the other as well. The PS3 is a different beast entirely.

Is it Bethesda's fault PS3 doesn't have DLC? Yes. They've admitted that.
Is it Microsoft's fault? Highly, highly unlikely.

Besides, if Skyrim is so "stale" why do you care anyway?

Lol Krantos Sound logic and reason is a rather rare thing in posts on issues like this
