Dead Space 3 screens feature crew, suits, co-op

A good look at Visceral's latest
12 new screenshots are here for Visceral Games' Dead Space 3, the latest entry in the beloved action horror series that's totally sold out and gone co-op and is awful -- or is it? I've been leaning toward the former, but I'm still giving the benefit of the doubt. At the least, it seems plausible co-op will somewhat ruin the joy of fear present in previous games, but single player will be strong as ever -- about two months to find out if I'm being too optimistic.
Anyway, the screens give a good look at co-op, new suits (some of which look cool, others a bit silly), Isaac floating around in space as usual, and then the crew, including one busty lady that brings to mind Lana of Archer -- no complaints. All in all, it doesn't look atrocious and shows potential, but then again these are just screenshots.
Dead Space 3 launches February 5.

Screens looks amazing! Though I don't see why someone is worried about co-op when it's optional. And to say Dead Space sold out before even playing the game is silly. Some fans have actually been asking for co-op for awhile now.

The co-op in this game is actually something that extends the psychological aspect of the series as what one player see's on their screen is not what the other is seeing. You may have your partner run off ahead leaving you alone because on their screen there is something to chase. There are so many added extras to the co-op and while they aren't mandatory and the whole experience can be seen in single player, it will offer a very cool option for those who enjoy co-op.

I like the idea of co-op because I've got a friend who's really into the game too. But after watching a recent story-mode video and realising the single player is completely unrelated, it gives me faith that it'll be as strong as previous instalments.
