Dead Island Riptide screenshots show familiar survivors, new locations

Dead Island: Riptide is still a ways away, but we've got a handful of new screenshots to tide us over until then (hah, tide).

Unfortunately, the people we're seeing are still the familiar faces from the first Dead Island. Granted, three of the four are perfectly fine as human beings, but we really would've liked to see a bit more of the recently revealed fifth character in action. You know, John, the guy who looks like Ellis on steroids.

The locations in the images are new as well, taken from Palanai. At a glance, they don't look too different from the regions we've already sees. But hey, same chain of resort islands, so that's not shocking. Anyway, enjoy the pictures, because zombies.
