If Far Cry 3's story hasn't captured your imagination, and if the game's multiplayer hasn't kicked up your adrenaline, maybe what you need is a dose of co-op comradery. The latest trailer from Ubisoft introduces the four-person squad that makes up the cooperative campaign of Far Cry 3. Yes, an entire campaign that takes place 6 months prior to the events of the main story, which is playable online or locally via split-screen. No one will ever say there wasn't enough to do in Far Cry 3.
Callum the Scottish thug, Leonard the crooked cop, Tisha the ex-soldier, and Mikhail the Russian hitman make up our merry band of thieves. Their "stash" has been stolen and they've come to the island to find their thief and make him pay. Needless to say, the four playable anti-heroes aren't particularly personable, and I wouldn't be surprised if their actions lead to unfriendly landscape of Far Cry 3's main story
Far Cry 3 is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC and releases in North America on December 4, though other territories may pick it up as early as November 29. The bulk of the game was made by Ubisoft Montreal, but it wouldn't be surprising if the co-op and multiplayer were made by Ubi's other teams in Shanghai or Britain.
